Martial Arts Techniques
There are many different martial arts techniques. Each different technique is unique to that particular form of fighting. Martial arts techniques are often used to defend yourself. This article is going to elaborate on four different martial arts techniques which are very effective and popular.
The most popular of all the Kung Fu martial arts techniques is the aerial cartwheel. This martial art technique requires a person to understand how the cartwheel works and then use his body to replicate the movement of a cartwheel. To perform this technique the person has to stand sideways and lean his torso towards the ground and finally swing his legs over.
The person then has to keep his body upside down and keep his legs up straight and kick the opponent while coming down on the ground. In order to master the aerial cartwheel technique the person has to practice this martial arts technique till he can complete all the steps without halting in between.
The takedown is the most popular of all the Jujitsu martial arts techniques and in order to practice this technique the defender requires using his body weight and physical strength to drag the opponent on the floor. The defender can then strike the opponent when he is temporarily disarmed and hence defeat the opponent. It is important to note that the take down technique is different from merely throwing the opponent to the ground and this technique requires the defender to be physically fit in order to drag the opponent successfully.
Atemi is the toughest but most effective of all the Jujitsu martial arts techniques and the defender needs to practice this technique well before using. This technique requires the defender to strike the pressure points of the opponent in order to disarm the opponent. This technique is often used when the opponent uses sleazy techniques to win over the defender and Atemi helps break the natural balance of the opponent.
Hard techniques are the most dangerous of all the martial arts techniques and hard techniques involve breaking down the opponent using force. Tae Kwon Do is considered as a very hard martial art and the Tae Kwon Do kick is considered deadly enough to break the arm of the opponent while he is trying to punch the defender.
Open hand martial arts techniques are considered effective and they help defeat the opponent without hurting him too much. Open hand techniques are used mainly to block attacks and these soft techniques are often used along with strikes and punches in order to defeat the opponent.
