Wado Ryu Karate is the second type of martial arts karate and this technique is quite different from Shotokan karate. Wado Ryu karate is based on body management and this type of martial arts karate requires the person to manipulated his body and move his body along with the attacker in order to avoid being hurt by the attacker.
Harmony is given utmost importance in this type of martial arts karate and the main goal of Wado Ryu karate is to move along with the attacker rather than using physical force to move against the attacker.
Goju Ryu karate is the third type of martial arts karate which is characterized by using both soft and hard techniques to disable the attacker. The main goal of this type of martial arts karate is to learn how to breathe correctly in order to strengthen and condition the body. Both circular movements and linear movements are practiced in this type of martial arts karate and hard strikes by using the closed fist along with soft movements such as open hand techniques are practiced in Goju Ryu karate.
Other soft techniques that are used in this type of martial arts karate include blocking the opponent with circular hand movements and attacking or grappling the opponent.
